Raiders vs. Chiefs Game Day Analysis

Hey, what’s up everybody? It’s your boy B.Mims back for another week of my Raiders analysis. For those of you who have been anticipating this review like a check in the mail, i’m going to get straight into it. First off, the Raiders are coming of a much-needed win last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Although it wasn’t pretty, the Raiders managed to make plays when it counted most to pull out a 26-23 victory at the coliseum. … [Read more...]

Raiders versus JaguarsWeek 7: Heart wrenching win for my Raiders today! A roller coaster ride all day; typical for a Raiders game.  Raiders seem as if they came out flat in the first half, looked like we had left our game in Atlanta last week.  I’m not going to lie, I was feeling like we were about to be embarrassed on our home field. And the way we started out it would have been deserved.  We played like HOT GARBAGE in the first half, … [Read more...]

Raiders vs. Jaguars Game Analysis

This weekend the Oakland Raiders face the Jacksonville Jaguars at the coliseum. The Raider should look to take full advantage as both teams have an underwhelming 1-4 record. However, the difference between the two teams is that the Jacksonville Jaguars currently rank dead last in points per game, yards per game, and passing yards per game. This means as a team, they are generating little to no offense. The Raiders are coming off a … [Read more...]

Week 6 RAIDER VS FALCONS: My Raiders played a good game.  They didn’t give up but came up short.  A heart breaking 23-20 lost against the Atlanta Falcons.  Coming off the bi-week, the Raiders came to play, intercepting Falcons #2 Matt Ryan 3 times in the first half.  Even with a still banged up secondary, the defense got after it all day only given up 16 points to the hi-powered Atlanta offense playing steady pass defense and stout run … [Read more...]

Raiders Fall to Falcon 23-20

Fresh off of their bye week the Oakland Raiders flew to Atlanta to take on the undefeated 5-0 Falcons team. The Raiders entered the game with a dismal 1-3 record, with their only win of the season coming against the Pittsburgh Steelers at home. The bye week gave the Raiders additional time to prepare for what would be their toughest challenge to date.  It’s no secret that the Raiders are paper thin in their defensive backfield. This definitely … [Read more...]

Oakland Gets It's First Win Of The Season!!!!It was a hard fought victory over the old school legendary rival the Pittsburg Steelers. It didn’t start off well for my Raiders. The first play of the game Raiders QB #3 Carson Palmer threw an interception due to #17 Denarius Moore slipped on the baseball infield dirt. This only confirms once again that we need and deserve a  football only stadium! This turn over led to Pittsburgh 1st touch … [Read more...]

Oakland RaidersThe Oakland Raiders are off to a disappointing 0-2 start as they fell to the Miami Dolphins 35-13. The Raiders just can’t seem to get their running game going. The new zone-blocking scheme that was implemented appears to be doing Darren McFadden no favors, as he rushed for a dismal 22 yards on 11 attempts. The Raiders offensive linemen just can’t seem to get off the ball quick enough to create enough running lanes for their …

Raiders Fumble Niners Rumble In Game 1

Oakland RaidersThere was much excitement swarming around the Oakland Raiders Monday Night debut under new Head Coach Dennis Allen. This was supposed to be a renaissance, a new approach married to a throwback attitude, a Raider-rection reclamation project that ushered the team in to a new era of just winning baby. Well, those planned will need to be postponed for at least a game. During the preseason, the Raiders showed signs of fielding a … [Read more...]

Nothing excites me more about BRICKHOUSE TALK than when I have the PROUD opportunity to write about a star that has emerged from my home town of Lufkin Texas. 49er And Raiders PreSeason Analysis

San Francisco 49ers TheSan Francisco49ers is coming off a 3-1 preseason record, as they enter into the 2012 season. Quarterback Alex Smith has had a sold performance completing 13 of 19 pass attempts, for 134 yards and a QB rating of 123.6. He has also thrown two TD’s with zero INT’s. Although these are not Pro Bowl caliber stats, they are consistent with the performance that he is known for. Managing the game, not turning the … [Read more...]
