RAIDERS FAN REVIEW!!!!!

Oakland Gets It’s First Win Of The Season!!!!
It was a hard fought victory over the old school legendary rival the Pittsburg Steelers. It didn’t start off well for my Raiders. The first play of the game Raiders QB #3 Carson Palmer threw an interception due to #17 Denarius Moore slipped on the baseball infield dirt. This only confirms once again that we need and deserve a  football only stadium!
This turn over led to Pittsburgh 1st touch down of the game by #83 Heath Miller after the replacement refs missed a pic play on Pittsburgh 3rd down. MORE TO COME ON THE REPLACEMENT REFS!!!! (SMH)
Oakland next drive by #20 Darren McFadden (RunDMC)  ran a 64 yards touch down tying the game 7-7.  Pittsburgh came right back on their next drive and scored again another touch down by Heath Miller (Pit 14-7).
In the 2nd quarter Raiders  #85Darrius Heyward-Bey scored a 4 yards touch down after Pittsburgh received a penalty on the 4th and goal which gave the Raiders 1st and goal.
Pittsburgh came down and made a field goal before half time, leading against Raiders 17 – 14. Our depleted secondary was picked on all day by #7 Ben Roethlisberger.  Both of our CB’s were out with injuries.  Our starting strong safety #24 Michael Huff had to start at CB. In the third quarter Big Ben hit #17 Mike Wallace wide open in the back of the end zone. (Pit 24-14). Our safety #27 Matt Giordano pulled up lame on the play.  The Raiders came back and scored on a 1 yard touch down throw Carson Palmer to tight end #82 Richard Gordon  (Pit 24-21)
Pittsburgh came back and scored another touch down when # 84 Antonio Brown recovered his own fumble in the end zone after the Raiders defense stripped him on his way into the end zone. (Pit 31-21) The Raiders came right back and Carson Palmer end a nice Raiders driver with a 4 yard TD pass to  Denarius Moore (Pitt 31-28).
My Raiders showed up and showed out the rest of the game.  The Raiders recovered a Pittsburg #84 Mike Brown fumble the offense marched down the field again. This drive was stalled for over 12 minutes when Darrius Heyward-Bey (DHB) was knocked unconscious by a helmet to helmet dirty hit by Pittsburgh which these replacements refs didn’t even call.  They need to be REPLACED in my opinion.  They also missed a pass interference call on the play before DHB was hurt.  #11 Sebastian Janikowski kicked a 32 yard field goal to tie the game 31-31.
The Raiders defense held Pittsburgh making them punt on their next drive setting up a game winning drive for the QB Carlson Palmer driving Raiders into field goal position. Sebastian Janikowski (Sea Bass) kicked a 44 yard game winning field goal with no time on the clock.  (31-34) RAIDERS!!!!
Great game to watch!!  Wasn’t always pretty for my boys but they kept fighting.  Erased 2 – 10point leads in the 2nd half that’s big. In the end “Just Win Baby” like Al Davis would say.   R.I.P. Al.  And that’s what the Raiders did!!!.
